Getting in touch with your Spiritual side

Getting in touch with your Spiritual side It is my opinion that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. With that being said, it would make sense to tap into our spirit on a regular basis. I know Zig Zigler has a line that Personal Growth is like showing…recommended daily. I think spiritual food should

I miss my mom.

Your email:  My mom died. Just writing the sentence seems so final. Mom’s just don’t die. At least, not in my world. I am 47 years old and I have never had my mom die. She was just here at my house. She came for Christmas. How did this happen? So, my mind says one thing and

Why do I love commercials?

Why do I love commercials? by Michelle Shelton I was thinking about a commercial today and then I realized that I used to love watching TV more for the commercials than anything. Why? I think it has to do with seeing how creative people can be. How inspiring someone can be. Commercials are thought provoking, at least

I can name your commitment in 10 seconds

I can name your commitment in 10 seconds By Michelle Shelton, Executive Coach In personal growth I hear people say they are committed to growth, change, getting out of the box, doing something different and most of all they are committed to creating better relationships. Except when they aren’t. Commitment to change requires letting go. Allowing. Accepting.

George is long past his seminar and speaking days….I did have the opportunity to meet him. He is very elderly now. The experience was great. I suspect he and Thomas Wilhite

What is a Mastermind?

What is a Mastermind?
By Michelle Shelton

The Bible says, “Where two or more come together in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20

The term Master Mind was first used in 1908 by a man named Napoleon Hill. Napoleon Hill was commissioned by Andrew Carnegie, (then the richest man in the world), to interview the most successful people of his day. The objective was to find what success has in common. His book, ‘Think and Grow Rich’ finally came out in 1937 and outlined the ‘13 Principles’ that Hill’s long years of research had identified as being common to every successful person.

Hill says of the Master Mind: Two Creating a Mighty Third. So as you can see, 1+1=3 is not some new Math we have used. 1+1=3 is the Master Mind where Two Minds Create a Mighty Third.

One of those principles was that of the Master Mind Group. Hill demonstrated that no successful person does it alone. All are surrounded by people who can help them, advise them, criticize them, encourage them, motivate them, inspire them and spark them to be better than they could ever be on their own.

He goes even further to suggest that people with a mastermind group around them can tap into an intelligence that is beyond themselves – that the coming together of two or more minds focused on a single purpose creates a collection of intellect that can never be achieved by the individuals on their own.

Some branches of Christianity teach that Marriage is the ultimate Master Mind.
